What is collected, why, and how to make it stop. This site collects very little: no accounts, no advertising cookies, and a single contact form.

What we process
Server logs (always)
Like every website, our hosting provider records technical data for each request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser's user agent. This is needed to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose errors.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating and securing the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention: as set by the hosting provider's standard log rotation, and not used to build profiles.
Google Analytics 4 (only if you accept)
If you click Accept on the consent banner, we load Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful: pages viewed, time on page, approximate location, device and traffic source. If you click Reject or ignore the banner, Google Analytics is not loaded at all and sets no cookies.
- Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
- Cookies set after consent:
_gaand_ga_BFB54XJK2S, used to distinguish visits, expiring after up to two years. - Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code), which you can withdraw at any time.
- Retention: analytics data is kept for 14 months, then deleted.
- Transfers: data may be processed by Google LLC in the United States, which participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
- No advertising use: analytics data is not linked to advertising products or used for profiling.
Your consent choice (always)
Your Accept or Reject choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the key cs-consent, so the banner does not reappear on every page. It is technically necessary, stays on your device, and is never sent to us.
Affiliate links
Affiliate links pass through a redirect on a subdomain of this site (go.cheaperstack.com), run on Cloudflare, before sending you to the vendor. We set no cookie on that redirect; Cloudflare processes the request in order to route it, and logs it under its own terms. Once you reach the vendor's site, that vendor may set its own cookies to attribute your signup, under its own privacy policy.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, we receive your email address and your message by email, and use them only to reply to you. The form is not a newsletter signup and you will not be added to any list.
- Legal basis: taking steps at your request and our legitimate interest in answering it (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention: for as long as needed to handle your request, and no longer than 24 months.
- Abuse protection: to limit spam, a salted one-way hash of your IP address is kept on the server to count recent submissions. It is ignored after one hour and deleted the next time the form is used. The IP address itself is not stored or sent to us.
Changing or withdrawing consent
Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page to reopen the banner and change your choice. If you withdraw consent, Google Analytics cookies are deleted and analytics stops loading.

We do not sell, rent or share personal data with anyone else.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to [email protected]; we reply within 30 days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Italy that is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it); you may also contact the authority in your own EU country.
Children
This site is aimed at professionals and is not directed at anyone under 16.
Changes
Material changes to this policy are published on this page with a new date.
